Tate currently develops print and pattern for apparel, accessories, and footwear at Nike in Portland, OR. While working in print design, Tate also creates original and commissioned artwork.
She has created original print and textile artwork, color design, graphics, and product packaging for Marc Jacobs, Coach 1941, Victoria’s Secret Lingerie, Roller Rabbit, and Anthropologie.
Her work at Marc Jacobs was included in the 2019 MET Gala: Camp. Tate has worked with the Mattress Factory Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art, and Chautauqua Institution. She was an Artist in Residency at Bunker Projects and has exhibited work in Pittsburgh, Denver, and New York. Her work is a part of the collection of Eric Shiner, currently a leader of Pioneer Works, formerly Senior Vice President of Sotheby's Fine Art Division and Bill Benter of the Bill Benter Foundation, among others. Tate has been featured on the blogs and social media of The Glassblock, Pittsburgh; ArtMaze Magazine, Issue 3; Field Projects Gallery, New York; Instyle; Garage Magazine; Architectural Digest; Vogue Brasil; and AnOther.
